Share the details of your family history and family traditions. After the lesson Family Home Evening is ended with a song followed by a closing prayer. This could also be used as singing time if your family is more inclined that way. Share an evening together as a family discussing your faith. A bible study is a great way to unite the family around common values. You can discuss topics that the small children may have learned about in Sunday School or you can discuss ideas for missionary work with older children.

The Church instructs its members not to hold any local events on Monday nights, so it is available for family time. Another fun way to spend the evening with members of your family is to watch a movie all together. Afterwards, be sure to discuss it and share your favorite character.
